What a Great Blue Day!
Over 200 people turned out to support child abuse prevention at Child Advocacy Services’ (CAS) Blue Run 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk and 5K Race on Saturday, April 11, 2015 in Gonzales. The Blue Run kicked off Child Abuse Prevention Month and the Blue Ribbon Campaign. Many runners came dressed in blue and joined the fun run and race at Gonzales City Hall.
CAS welcomed the attendance of presenting sponsor St. Elizabeth Hospital. A special thanks to the Knights of Columbus of St. Amant who were there to provide jambalaya after the race. Big thanks to Gonzales Police Department, the City of Gonzales, and the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office for all of your help in making the Blue Run in Gonzales a great day!
