CASA and DCFS have Social Event

CASA and DCFS have Social Event - CASA NewsroomOn June 16, 2010, child welfare workers from the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers and staff met together to enhance their work for abused and neglected children in Ascension Parish. This DCFS and CASA social event allowed the two agencies to mingle together in a more relaxed and personal setting to build relationships. This event allowed all those involved to relate and connect on topics in addition to their love and passion for helping children in need. DCFS and CASA continue to work closely together to ensure that all of the children of Ascension, St. James, and Assumption Parishes have safe and permanent homes.
