Building a Child's Future!
Child Advocacy Services (CAS) kicks off the 9th Annual Cottages for CASA 2017 playhouse raffle this fall. The fun starts in July 2017 when the building of the playhouse begins. Local builders, painters, and designers will create a unique custom playhouse to be raffled on Saturday, November 11, 2017.
The Cottages for CASA Celebration Party theme is Sundresses and Shrimp Boots. The party will be held at The Cedar Post Barn in Albany, LA on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Join us for delicious food and delightful drinks, a surprise celebrity host, silent and live auctions, and kick up your shrimp boots with live music by Cuisine. Tickets are $50 per person and will go on sale August 1, 2017.
Child Advocacy Services is seeking sponsors for the 2017 Cottages for CASA Playhouse Raffle. The levels are; “From the Floor Up” sponsorship $500; “These Four Walls” sponsorship $1,000; “Raising the Roof” sponsorship $2,500; and the "Premier Playhouse" sponsorship $5,000. Sponsorship levels provide the opportunity to promote your business and help a child in need.
CAS is seeking support from the community to help the abused and neglected children in the ten parishes they serve. Each year, there are approximately 54,092 cases of abuse and neglect reported in Louisiana. Over 8,107 children are living in foster care. Last year, Child Advocacy Services was able to appoint 210 volunteers to represent 547 children through their CASA program. Of those children, 186 were placed in safe and permanent homes.
Tickets for the playhouse raffle will go on sale in September 2017 with the winners to be drawn on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Middendorf's Manchac Run Afterparty. Cottages for CASA
COME join in the fun as we raffle cottages. The cottage will be displayed in our service areas from September 1st through November 2017. You can support us by becoming a sponsor. "Premier Playhouse Sponsor", $5,000; “Raising the Roof,” $2,500; “These Four Walls,” $1,000; and “From the Floor Up,” $500.We will collect sponsorships throughout the entire project; however, to be listed on any printed materials, please submit before September 1st.

CARING! All children deserve a safe and permanent home. Proceeds from all ticket sales and sponsorships will be used to continue providing services for children through Child Advocacy Services to strengthen our mission to give voice, healing, and security to children.
